LIMITED SLIP COLLARS
Limited Slip Collars are designed to keep your dog both safe and comfortable on walks. The collar goes on loose and slips easily over your dogs head but while attached to a leash if the dog pulls in any direction away from you, the collar tightens enough that the dog can’t slip out of the collar, but not enough to choke the dog.
They are a similar design to a martingale collar, however these collars sit more flush to the coat giving a nicer appearance. While the design is suitable for all breeds of dogs, it is ideal for a double coated or long coated dog as the way the collar sits naturally when not attached to a leash is more relaxed therefore not cutting into the coat.
Our limited-slip collars are adjustable for fitting. These collars adjust from 10″ – 17″ with an opening up to 21″. Our collars have a strong 1″ x 1.75mm polypropylene webbing core with a cotton outter fabric. The hardware is consists of a metal tri-glide, welded D-ring and rectangle ring for dependable durability. To add to this durability they are stitched throughout with a 3 ply bonded #69 nylon thread.
